I’m Peter Nicholson, an experienced racing and cruising yachtsman and Owner/Director of The Yacht Brokerage Pty Ltd.
Based on the Gold Coast, Queensland we have extensive Australian domestic representation and we will work with other brokerages to secure the right boat for our clients.
I have been actively involved in the marine industry for more than 10 years, marketing Australian-built vessels to national and international clients and I successfully managed the production and sale of a number of different Australian brand vessels into China, New Zealand, USA and The Middle East.
Additionally, I have raced my own racing yachts extensively on the East Coast of Australia for a number of years, competed in the Sydney Hobart Yacht Race a number of times and been a crew member on two America’s Cup Challenges.
My focus at The Yacht Brokerage is to provide professional brokerage and advisory consultancy services to discerning Australian and international buyers and sellers of top quality Power | Sail | Commercial | Prestige Yachts and Boats. I also distribute a fabulous range of marine performance products under the Pro-Ma Performance Marine brand. During each engagement, I work closely with my clients to ensure they receive the best professional advice, pricing information, and buying/selling support. After a long serving 35 years in the public sector as a manager responsible for delivery and excellence in Customer Service I have since retired to take on a new challenge along with my wife Deb to manage the Great Sandy Straits Marina at Hervey Bay. I have a background in boating spanning 40 years where I started with smaller trailerable craft to now owning a 60ft power catamaran

I have been sailing for the last 30 years with extensive experience both offshore and round the buoys racing. I have built both dinghies and yachts including the spider range, Elliot’s, sabots and Thompson yachts. In recent years I have concentrated on the cruising life. I own a Bavaria 46 and over the last 3 years have added solar, an inverter and other cruising items to make the boat self sufficient and comfortable. Because of this experience I believe that I am able to assist our clients to find the right boat for the style of boating they want to do. I am dedicated to helping you achieve your boating dreams.
I'm Tracey-Ann Gulley, Broker to The Yacht Brokerage. I have experience in many different fields. I started working in the Charter Boat Industry twenty years ago in Port Douglas, from there I left beautiful Far North Queensland to travel Australia where I continued working in the Industry in Exmouth, Western Australia and then returning to Far North Queensland remaining in the Industry.
From there I moved to the Northern Territory where I gained Managerial skills working in the Job Network industry and also for the Northern Territory Government.

I am Shay McQuade and I am pleased to represent The Yacht Brokerage team in South Australia.
My work has seen me live in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide over the past 30 years and I have raced competitively out of RPAYC in Pittwater, Sandringham YC in Melbourne and RSAYS in Adelaide in that period.
I have also owned a number of both sail and power boats and my professional background in marketing coupled with personal experience brings a customer focus to the process of buying or selling your next boat.
I am Travis Barkus, the young, fresh South African blood in The Yacht Brokerage. Just washed ashore from Fort Lauderdale, where I was working in the Super Yacht industry. My sales and yachting background, along with my networking ability will assist you in finding the right buyer or the boat you desire.

Hello there, I’m Geoff Marsh, Brisbane broker for The Yacht Brokerage. I have been serving the Brisbane area including Mooloolaba and down to the Gold Coast for over six years. I look forward to providing you with the highest possible standard of customer service.
I have worked in a wide variety of industries throughout my career from Commercial shipping operations, civil aviation, manufacturing and charity organisations which has allowed me to build strong relationships with people from all walks of life and given me an appreciation for the importance of delivering on commitments.
My passion has been boating from an early age, learning to sail on a small lake in Melbourne in dinghys, progressing to crewing and ultimately skippering my own yacht in various regattas and club races as well as mucking about in powerboats of all sizes and descriptions from fast ski and wake boats to displacement Pilothouse and Flybridge cruisers and everything in between.
I’m also a commercially qualified photographer and bring finely honed skills to the photographing and listing of vessels and am constantly seeking ways and technologies to improve our client’s vessels presentation which in turn enables buyers to determine the suitability of a vessel for their needs whether that be racing, live aboard, blue water cruising, weekender or fishing and family boat.
